Heal at Fox & Feather Cabin
I bought Fox & Feather Cabin five years after I fell in love with the high desert. It has been the perfect place to get away from the high energy of the city and let my nervous system detox. The sacred land of this property has helped hold me as I healed, and I knew I wanted to begin to share it along with my work.
Who This is For
It’s for you if:
Your heart has been broken, you’re grieving, or you’ve fallen into depression.
You’re reaching burn out from all that’s on your plate and need an emotional and spiritual detox.
You have a book to write, art to make, or need solitude to reconnect with your creativity.
This offering is intended for those who can handle solitude, want to connect with nature, and are in need of some additional support. If you would like to simply book the cabin for general enjoyment you can do so here.
How It Works
You can book the cabin for one, two, three weeks or the entire month. Preference will be given to those interested in longer stays. Each week you’ll meet with me virtually for a healing session. You will also receive access to Dig Deeper, my online healing hub full of workshops, and you will be able to work with the ones I suggest for you during our off days.
In our session we’ll discuss ways you can deepen your healing during your time in the desert.
About Fox & Feather
Fox & Feather is a 1953 Jackrabbit Homestead in Wonder Valley, just a few miles east of Joshua Tree. It's the perfect place to detox from the city and connect to the energy of the desert. It features two bedrooms and a small writer’s room that looks out on the giant Saguaro hovering over the cabin.
Located on five acres of land with 360 degree mountain views, Fox and Feather is a place to settle in for gorgeous sunsets, evenings lounging on the porch, and peaceful writing, reading, healing, and creating.
We’re a twenty minute drive from the entrance of Joshua Tree National Park. Enjoy a day exploring the incredible rock formations in the park and an evening under a star littered sky in Wonder Valley.
While parts of the cabin have been renovated, it’s still a cozy cabin from the 50s! This means that there might be occasions when air gets into the pipes and could cause spurting sounds out of the shower. Our shower pressure is that of a vintage cabin and not a luxury home.
It’s not uncommon to see coyotes run through the area or stop by for a drink of water in the middle of the night. As you walk around the property, it will be hard to miss lizards, geckos, ravens, and doves.
